Pelosi Defends Congressman Who Had Intimate Relations With Chinese Spy
Controversial Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi shrugged off concerns that one of her subordinate Democrat Representatives has been compromised by a Chinese spy.
While House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called for revoking Swalwell’s seat on the House Intelligence Committee, Pelosi told reporters “I don’t have any concern about Mr. Swalwell,” and expressed disdain for McCarthy “trying to make an issue of this.”
Pelosi explained that she and other members of Congress have known about the Chinese spy who Swalwell is said to have been intimate with since as far back as 2015. The Chinese spy, Christine Fang, or Fang Fang, is no longer in the country and Swalwell has not had any contact with her since then, says Pelosi. However, the New York Post reported that Swalwell’s father and brother remain friends with Fang on Facebook.
When asked about implementing background checks on Congressional interns – as a response to discovering that Fang Fang had inserted a Chinese intern into Swalwell’s office- Pelosi dismissed that as “not necessary.”
Republicans are openly incensed about being kept in the dark about this, and by the fact that Pelosi appointed Swalwell to the House Intelligence Committee after she found out he’d allowed himself and his office to be compromised. They’re calling Swalwell “a threat to national security.”
Of particular irony, many Conservative pundits are noting, is the fact that Swalwell was one of Trump’s biggest attackers during the Russian Collusion campaign. Popular hosts like Tucker Carlson, Dan Bongino, and Sean Hannity all dedicated significant air time to this story, with extra emphasis on Swalwell’s Far Left sanctioned hypocrisy.
On December 9, Former Acting Director of United State National Intelligence Richard Grenell discussed this issue on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show. Swalwell’s story is just “the tip of the iceberg,” Grenell said, and hinted that more cases will soon be made public. “There’s a variety of mayors, governors, senior people,” he added.
With conspiracy theories popping up at the same rate Biden ballots miraculously appeared, it is hard to keep track of them all. This “honey-sting” Chinese spy attack can seem like something easier to believe in a James Bond movie than real life, but the evidence is real and the plot is thickening.
